Cume do Avia Brancellao Dos Canotos is an organic red wine made by Cume do Avia with the Brancellao variety in the D.O. Ribeiro (Galicia).  Cume do Avia is run by four cousins who, after many years of planning, left their jobs to set up their own winery in their grandparents’ hometown of Eiras do Mouros. They have a total of 9 hectares of recovered vineyards planted with up to 14 different native varieties, which are vinified following ancient Galician methods.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
