Scheuermann's "Vin de Soda" is a non-vintage sparkling wine from the Pfalz region in Germany. It is crafted from a blend of Riesling, Weissburgunder, Muskateller, and Muller-Thurgau grapes. The wine is known for its gentle spritz and is aged for seven months on lees in stainless steel tanks.

It is produced using the Charmat method, which is commonly used for making sparkling wines. The wine is certified organic and biodynamic, with vines aged between 10 to 30 years, grown in sandstone and loess soils at an elevation of 400 feet. "Vin de Soda" has an alcohol content of 12% and is described as a thirst-quencher suitable for all seasons, offering a refreshing option for various occasions like parties or picnics.

The wine features delightful citrus and tree fruit flavors, including lime, Granny Smith apples, lemon peel, and gooseberries. It also has a hint of biscuit, which adds complexity to its profile. The wine is noted for its fresh acidity and minerality, making it a quenching and satisfying drink.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
