Roberto Voerzio is considered one of the most talented Barolo winemakers in the world, he is also combines modern and traditional production methods in favor of quality. His wines are praised by the world's most renowned wine critics for their balanced fruit, well-integrated tannins and particularly long finish.

His focus is on cleanly vinified wines that stand up to any quality test. Mercilessly in the most positive sense, every wine here is meticulously put to the test. Roberto's son Davide has internalized this perfectionist approach of his father and together they will  give us impressive wines.

Winemaker Notes

This wine is absolutely intense yet dexterously composed. The aromas and flavors include strawberry, red rose, black cherry, herbs, leather, and licorice. The mouthfeel is structured, layered, and persistent.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we can include optional ice packs in our insulated shippers and select an overnight shipping service & a Weather Waiver. Otherwise, it would be unsafe to ship in those conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request. We flag temps above 72 °F or below 32 °F as extreme.
