From the creative genius of Topazia Alliata, daughter of Duke Enrico and the last heir of the Alliata family to manage the winery, Colomba Platino Bianco was born in 1959. Made from pure Insolia grapes, it was an extremely innovative wine for its time, as it was the result of a new approach to white winemaking.

Elegant and delicate, yet intense and decisive, both in color and in organoleptic notes, it quickly became a beloved wine, making its way to the most prestigious banquets. Today, the line includes a red made from Nero d’Avola and a rosé made from Frappato grapes, featuring new labels inspired by “Poliedrica”, the artwork displayed in the Duca di Salaparuta cellars in Casteldaccia, which the artist Arrigo Musti dedicated to Topazia Alliata.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
