The single malt is matured more than 20 years in sweet PX cask. Dark amber color, ruby red reflections.
Vanilla, almond and sherry flavors: fascinating tropical-style sensuality. Intense silky texture. Extremely complex and concentrated. Same kind of maturation as the "Blossoming", its color becomes darker, keeping very nice reddish hues. Old single cask may appear not easy to drink because tight, strong and concentrated characters. Let it open in the glass and it will show mellow, delicious balance.

Michel Couvreur Whiskies began with a Belgium man making Scotch Whisky in the heart of Burgundy – quite the combination! Michel Couvreur was a passionate perfectionist when it came to Scotch Whisky, so its no surprise that his handcrafted whiskies are recognized as the epitome of excellence, despite the challenges created by the general automation of production. In 1988, the Danish media called him "The Last of the Mohicans”, as he was indeed one of the last of the artisanal producers of Scotch Whisky in the world.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
