From the biodynamic vineyards of Musella, located in the hills just outside Verona, comes a refined and elegant expression of Amarone della Valpolicella. Crafted from the traditional blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta, Musella’s Amarone is made using the appassimento method, where the grapes are dried before fermentation, concentrating their flavors. Musella's commitment to sustainability and natural winemaking shines through in this wine, offering both richness and balance.
On the nose, the Musella Amarone greets you with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, and fig, with underlying notes of dark chocolate, licorice, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with layers of dried fruit, blackberry, and raisin unfolding alongside hints of tobacco, earth, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. The wine’s bold tannins and fresh acidity keep it balanced, leading to a long, complex finish with notes of baking spices, mocha, and a subtle touch of herbaceousness.
