An older release of W.L. Weller, the original wheated bourbon. The Weller brand was historically produced by the Van Winkle family at Stitzel-Weller distillery.
This has been bottled at 107 proof and carries a 7 year age statement.
This mid-1990s bottling dates from a period where Diageo were still showing some interest in the bourbon market, promoting this and several other brands, such as Old Fitzgerald, as part of the Bourbon Heritage Collection. They would shortly sell most of these off in 1999, and the Weller label is now distilled and bottled at Buffalo Trace.
