Released in 2011, Woodford Reserve Master Collection New Cask Rye and Aged Cask Rye Whiskey is a perfectly paired set of superior crafted NAS rye. In this twinning edition, the first offers rye aged in new, unused casks with the latter matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Composed of a mash bill containing 100% rye and bottled to a mirroring 92.4 proof, this set of premium select rye is a venture into a new realm of Woodford’s iconic blending and finishing methodology. Each bottle offers characteristically-hued aromatics and flavorings for an extremely expressive sipping experience no matter which bottle you choose to savor or share! Notes of caramel, warm spice, and oak are detectible throughout either iteration, with pronounced hues of citrus from the aged rye paired with splashes of mint from the younger selection.
