Made from Grand Champagne Cognac aged 6 years, compared to the minimum 1 year needed to make Pineau des Charentes, added to the must of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc in the same cask, then left to marry for 16 years. A gentle sweetness and lower acidity are apparent on the palate. Subtle funkiness, earthy notes and fruit character are not unlike tawny port.
