Winery Notes (Translated)
This micro-vintage won over our selection committee from the first seconds of the tasting: a well-typed Saint-Estèphe expression - with a certain finesse due to this beautiful terroir at the heart of the Cos plateau - freshness and material for good guarding skills. Long under the radar with its five rows of vines, Château Linot produced barely two barrels. Until the 2014 vintage, when the owner Yohan Juste enlarged the vineyard with 50 neighboring acres, taken over from his uncle for rent.
The original plot belonged to the grandfather of Yohan Juste, a winegrower at Château Cos d'Estournel. Continuing the work of his ancestor, Yohan baptized the cru in memory of those moments when he came, as a child, to observe the linots, small whistling birds from the north of Médoc; and he left the cooperative cellar. Carpenter of his first trade - crowned Best Worker of France - he transformed the old stable into thermo-regulated cellar, to be able to deliver this high-end Saint-Estèphe.

A wine list from Flask published in the early 1970s
Driving down Ventura Blvd in Studio City in the 1960’s has something in common with today, Flask Fine Wine & Whisky- Flask first opened its doors to the public in 1962. Decades later and it still remains a respected fixture in the Los Angeles community.
We work directly with the wineries, distilleries and breweries to maintain a personal relationship with the creators of some of our favorite products.
We want to know their stories and how they produce bottles that fit into our unique collection. We make a point to keep our selection stocked with a wide variety, offering your classic Napa icons to your natural & organic wines.
We like to think of our whiskey and spirit section as more of a library where the rarest of bottles can be found.
We look forward to helping you find your next favorite bottle!
