Data Deletion Instructions

These data-deletion instructions apply to every Flask user worldwide. Any user may request deletion of Personal Information controlled by Flask, regardless of where they live and regardless of whether their jurisdiction has a specific privacy law.

Facebook/Meta Login Information

If you choose Facebook Login or another Meta login service, Flask may receive information from Meta such as your name, email address, Meta user ID, and profile information made available under your Meta settings and permissions. Flask uses this information for authentication, account creation, account linking, security, and fraud prevention. We do not receive your Facebook or Meta password.

How to Request Deletion

  1. Email hello@flaskfinewines.com.
  2. Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  3. Include your full name.
  4. Include the email address connected to your Flask account or Facebook/Meta Login.
  5. State that you want your information deleted.
  6. State whether your request concerns “Flaskfinewines Shopify Login” or Facebook Login.

Verification and Completion

To protect account data, Flask may ask for additional information to verify the requester’s identity before deleting account data. After verification, Flask will delete or de-identify Personal Information under Flask’s control, including information received through Facebook or Meta, except for limited information that must be retained.

Flask may retain limited information when required for:

  • Tax, accounting, payment, or transaction records;
  • Shipping and age-verification records;
  • Fraud prevention and security;
  • Legal compliance;
  • Disputes or legal claims; or
  • Confirming that a deletion request was completed.

Flask will confirm when the deletion request has been completed or explain what information must be retained and why.
