Heaven Hill

Heaven Hill is America's largest independent, family-owned distillery, founded in Bardstown in 1935. Its portfolio spans Elijah Craig, Evan Williams, Old Fitzgerald, Henry McKenna, Rittenhouse Rye, and the flagship limited Parker's Heritage Collection. Few producers offer such range, from bar staples to some of the most collected whiskeys in America.

An annual limited release honoring the late master distiller Parker Beam, each edition exploring a different concept: rare mashbills, unusual finishes, extreme ages. A portion of proceeds supports ALS research, the disease Parker faced, making it one of whiskey's most meaningful collectibles as well as one of its most acclaimed series.

Consistency and stock depth. Heaven Hill holds one of the world's largest reserves of aging bourbon, letting it bottle genuine age statements and bonded whiskeys at fair prices when competitors dropped theirs. Bottled-in-bond is a house specialty, and releases like Henry McKenna 10 Year have won top honors against far pricier bottles.

Parker's Heritage editions, the ultra-aged Heritage Collection releases, Old Fitzgerald decanters, and discontinued or early bottlings of core brands lead the market. In 1996 a catastrophic fire destroyed the original Bardstown distillery and tens of thousands of barrels, one of the most dramatic events in bourbon history. Heaven Hill rebuilt at the Bernheim distillery in Louisville, and pre-fire bottlings carry an extra layer of historical interest for collectors of the brand.
