Opaque Petit Verdot 2016 750ml
Traditionally used in Bordeaux-style blends, this grape varietal also shines in single-varietal wines. We've found that the Paso Robles appellation imparts a unique quality to our Petit Verdot, balancing perfectly between the smoothness found in Petit Verdot grown in colder climates and the jamminess found in Petit Verdot grown in hotter climates. After aging in French and American barrels for 24 months, our wine reveals ripe flavors of black plum and currant with accents of vanilla and dark chocolate. Structured tannins provide texture and depth with a lengthy finish.
