Luna Hart 2021 Syrah Reserve - Hinnrichs Vineyard, Ballard Canyon
This wine is truly a favorite of mine and the production is EXTREMELY limited. Every vintage I become more impressed with Hinnrichs Vineyard and the typicity of this Syrah is becoming familiar. This wine was aged for 18 months in neutral french oak to give it more depth and complexity. This wine is immediately elegant, exotic, and highly perfumed. With initial rich notes of pepper, mulberry, and black currants that lead into a spice complexity with hints of olive tapenade, white pepper, and a gorgeous finish. This wine is ready to drink now or will be more expressive with a little time in the decanter or cellar.

Fresh aromas of red currant, red apple and light bay leaf show on the nose of this immediately likable and still young bottling. The palate is zippy in acidity and loaded with lively flavors of raspberry and white pepper
