1980 Chateau Latour

Created in around 1680, Château Latour is one of the oldest vineyards in the Médoc. There is a central plot known as the Enclos with 47 hectares of old vines that are maintained with extreme care, as these are the ones used to make the grand vin. Another 18 hectares of external plots, consisting of vines less than ten years old and potentially declassified plots are used to produce the property's second wine, Les Forts de Latour.  

Latour's wines show exemplary consistency, whatever the quality of the vintage. Firm, tannic and concentrated in their youth, they require long cellaring to reveal the full depth of their power and extraordinary richness. When perfectly mature, the wine has an incredible bouquet of blackcurrants, hazelnuts and leather. A monumental wine.

All shipments require an adult signature on delivery. Please make sure an adult 21 or older will be available to sign for your package. We recommend shipping to a business address when possible.

We ship packages Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Express (overnight & 2 day) are usually shipped the same-day if placed by Noon Pacific time.. Please call for priority overnight services. We're happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Ground orders are usually packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days after the order is placed, Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
