Broadbent Selections is a US based fine-wine importer and distributor founded by Bartholomew Broadbent in 1996. As a wine expert in Port and Madeira, Bartholomew is largely responsible for the growth in consumption of both throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s and is now the largest importer of Madeira in North America.
Broadbent Selections are an exclusive US national importer for multiple sought after wine producers from around the world including Spy Valley, Chateau Musar and Quinta do Crasto. Bartholomew Broadbent also owns the labels Broadbent Port, Madeira and Vinho Verde in Portugal, Broadbent Malbec in Argentina, Broadbent Gruner Veltliner in Austria and The Curator in South Africa.
Today Bartholomew is based in Virginia, and is pioneering the distribution of Virginia wines throughout the United States of America.
