Realm Cellars Fidelio Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley 2018
These grapes form the backbone of Fidelio (formerly known as Ibid), to which we add small amounts of Sauvignon Blanc from other sites for additional complexity. Fidelio is our version of a fine white Bordeaux: expansive on the palate, wonderfully complex, a beautifully structured and concentrated white.

This Sauvignon Blanc is very impressive with a layered density of dried lemon and mineral character. Dried mango, too. Full body, phenolic texture and a creamy feel. Flavorful finish.

The 2018 Fidelio is fabulous. Bright and sculpted, 2018 is wonderfully energetic right out of the gate. Lemon peel, white flowers, crushed rocks, mint and apricot are all laced together in a wine of crystalline tension. This bright, refreshing white is a fabulous conclusion to this retrospective of more than sixty wines!
