Luna Hart 2021 Syrah Hinnrichs Vineyard
From Hinnrich’s Vineyard on the South end of Ballard Canyon AVA. With steep slopes and thick, beach sand, this is a difficult farming site that is left a bit wild and produces amazing fruit! This vintage is characterized by mulberry, fresh blackberry, nutmeg, licorice root, leather, cacao, pomegranate and complex baking spice.
This wine is immediately elegant, exotic, and highly perfumed. With initial rich notes of mulberry, and black currants that lead into a spice complexity with hints of olive tapenade, white pepper, and a gorgeous finish.
This wine is ready to drink now or will be more expressive with a little time in either the decanter or cellar.
