Camus is a family-owned producer that ranks among the largest Cognac brands in the world. It was founded in 1863 by Jean-Baptiste Camus and has remained in the family for five generations. The brandy is made from a blend of the common Cognac varieties: Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard.

In its ongoing search to explore the diverse regions of the Cognac appellation, CAMUS became the first Cognac House to capture the unique marine notes of the Ile de Ré vineyards. Raised and aged on the island, Camus Ile de Ré Cognacs typically offer fresh iodine notes with hints of dried fruit with archetypal mellow softness. Produced in limited quantities, they offer a rich and unique taste experience. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
