Balvenie

Balvenie is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Dufftown, Speyside, one of the few remaining Scottish distilleries to maintain its own malting floor. The distillery is known for its wood management program, drawing barrels from multiple cask types across its range. The DoubleWood 12 and DoubleWood 17 Year Old each mature in traditional oak before transferring to sherry casks, while the 14 Year Caribbean Cask finishes in rum barrels. The French Oak 16 Year and Portwood 21 Year Old each complete their maturation in distinct European wood. The 15 Year Old Sherry Cask Single Barrel 4444 and the 12 Year Single Barrel represent individual cask bottlings, with the rare Tun 1401 Batch 5 drawing from a vatting of historic casks dating back decades.
