When we took ownership of GlenAllachie Distillery, our Master Distiller Billy Walker embarked on an in-depth cask evaluation program across our 50,000 casks on-site. The results of his expert endeavors can be seen in our multi-award winning core range and in our single cask releases, where Billy has had the opportunity to showcase exceptional casks and highlight our approach to wood management.

We’re delighted to present a US Exclusive Single Cask hand-picked by Billy Walker and selected by the team at ImpEx Beverages. Distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022, this GlenAllachie 2010 12 yr Oloroso Puncheon Cask #5138 spent 24-30 months in an Oloroso Puncheon before being bottled at 58.5% ABV, no color added, non chill filtered, and in a hand-numbered bottle and display box. The perfectly aged spirit delivers sophisticated dessert notes intertwined with the classic GlenAllachie butterscotch DNA.

TASTING NOTES

Color: Intense Chestnut.

Nose: Lashings of dried berries, honeycomb, and muscovado sugar; with cocoa, cinnamon, and plum syrup.

Taste: Waves of heather honey, dark chocolate, and mocha, followed by ginger, Black Forest gâteau, and caramelized brown sugar.
