Tsuru means crane in Japanese and surprisingly the decanter have been decorated with cranes. This beautiful decanter contains a venerable blend of which only the Nikka group knows the secret. Made from a blend of single malts aged 17 years or more from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries
Not to be confused the "Taketsuru" - a blended malt named for the founder of the company Masataka Taketsuru - this 17 year old blend is named Tsuru, the Japanese word for crane, the graceful bird whose likeness adorns the exterior of this attractive ceramic decanter.
