Clean and bright, with red fruit bursting out of the glass and glazed fruit-tart sweetness. Soft and fruity with spicy clove appearing along with a cherry-menthol note. The rich fruit lingers finish. Taketsuru's no-age-statement blended malt contains a high percentage of malt from Miyagikyo, with the reminder coming from Yoichi.

Tasting Notes

Espresso beans, milk chocolate, tobacco leaf and lingering Sherried fruit. There's a slight touch of smoke as it develops.

Sherry-soaked plums, raisins and green apple slices. Honey'd cereal, black pepper and hint of barrel char.

Elegant smoke continues, with golden barley and a final hint of coffee.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
