The winery Curto Marco is a traditional family-run winery and has been handed down for three generations. Curto Marco, his wife Adele and their daughter Nadia cultivate the vineyards themselves, taking care of each step of the winemaking – from the nurturing of the plants to the manual harvest and all the way into the cellar.

The winery consists of 4 hectares in the heart of the Barolo production area, La Morra. This includes their prized parcel in the Arborina DOCG, a restricted hilly area famous for cru Barolos.

The family pays a lot of attention to winemaking with great respect for tradition. The name “La Foia” means “leaf” in the Piedmont dialect.

Full-bodied, intense flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry with a pleasing crispness.

All shipments require an adult signature on delivery. Please make sure an adult 21 or older will be available to sign for your package. We recommend shipping to a business address when possible.

We ship packages Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Express (overnight & 2 day) are usually shipped the same-day if placed by Noon Pacific time.. Please call for priority overnight services. We're happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Ground orders are usually packaged and shipped within 1-3 business days after the order is placed, Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
