The Courvoisier Erté Collection No.2 Vendanges is a luxurious and highly collectible cognac that pays tribute to the traditional grape harvest ("Vendanges") and represents the second release in Courvoisier's prestigious Erté Collection.
Tasting Profile
On the nose, this exceptional cognac exhibits rich aromas of honey, vanilla, and dried fruits, complemented by subtle floral notes. The palate delivers a complex flavor profile characterized by oak, caramel, and spices, culminating in a long and satisfying finish. Its deep amber color reflects its extensive aging process.
Heritage and Craftsmanship
This limited-edition cognac honors Romain de Tirtoff (Erté), the Russian-French artist widely celebrated as the "Father of Art Deco" who passed away in 1990. Some of the eaux-de-vie used in this blend date back to 1892, the year of the artist's birth. The cognac is crafted from grapes sourced from the prestigious Grande Champagne and Borderies crus, aged for approximately 20-25 years in oak barrels.
Collection Details
The Erté Collection consists of eight different bottles (No.1 through No.7, plus a 1988 decanter), with each design representing one of the seven steps of cognac production. These bottles feature Erté's distinctive Art Deco designs and have become highly sought-after by collectors worldwide.
