Baron de Lustrac is a small traditional producer of fine old vintage Armagnacs. Their grapes are usually sourced from the vineyard estate of Domaine de l'Enclos Lagardere in the subregion of Bas Armagnac. However, this particular bottling is not, and was sourced from Domaine de Mandillet à Saint Amand (Gers).

Although the label states an age statement of 40 years old, this release is said to include vintages as old as 50 and 60 years. 

This was imported exclusively for Wine4You in Belgium. Ivo Drabs of Wine4You in Belgium particularly requested this be bottled at a cask strength of 49.9%.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
