This wine is a share-cropping (metayage) arrangement between the Mercier family, who have owned the land since 1928, and Domaine Ponsot, who farms the land and makes the wine. It is the same wine as that sold under the Ponsot label, except for the paper sticker on the bottle. Reviews provided are for the Ponsot label.

Tasted out of barrel at the Domaine. A deep broody nose with touches of blueberry and violet, well defined with great lift with a hint of dried blood. Very well balanced on the palate with fine acidity and tensile tannins. Good tension here, very taut and linear on the finish. But very pure and the terroir really shines through. Tasted November 2010.
