Very Very Old Fitzgerald 1953 Bottled in Bond 12 Year Old Bourbon 100 Proof / Stitzel-Weller Gift Set

We don't see vintage Old Fitzgerald very often, so we are particularly excited about this bottle which was distilled in the spring of 1953 and bottled in 1965.

This was distilled at the Stitzel-Weller distillery while it was still being run by the legendary Julian 'Pappy' Van Winkle, and bottled at the distillery by his son, Julian II just a few months after his death in 1965.

These bottled in bond Old Fitzgerald from the Van Winkle era at Stitzel-Weller are incredibly sought after. The 'A collector's item' shoulder label on these continues to prove an impressive piece of foresight.

The lot comes complete with a leather presentation case with two glasses.
