Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents.

From a 200 year old quinta in the Douro Valley, this is a complex Tawny with warm sweet fruits, aniseed and spices, excellent acidity and a lingering finish; perfect with a cheese platter accompanied by dried fruit and nuts.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
