Nosotros Mezcal is an ensamble of 60% Maguey espadín and 40% Maguey Tobalá from maestro mezcalero Alberto “Don Beto” Ortiz in Santa Maria la Pila, Oaxaca.

Nosotros Mezcal is a small-batch agave spirits brand that marries the pura vida lifestyle of Costa Rica with the rebel spirit of Mexico, blending them under the California sun. The name “Nosotros” (us/we in English) is derived from the experience of enjoying the better things in life with family, friends and loved ones. The brand was started by Carlos Soto and Michael Arbanas in 2017. The idea of Nosotros was catalyzed by a college assignment, born from a passion for tequila. Their first expression was an unaged blanco tequila, and they now have both tequila and mezcal under the Nosotros brand.

Nosotros Mezcal is made with a unique blend of agaves. Espadín is the staple of tradition in our artisanal, yet inventive process. We fuse this familiar friend with Tobalá, the “king of agaves”, which is known to be vibrant and delicate with earthy and sweet characteristics. Our blend creates a balance of apricot and citrus, surrounded by an earthy campfire finish – impeccably sip ready.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
