Menade Verdejo Rueda 2024

Straw yellow in color with green reflections, this wine is clean and bright. On the nose, there is a concentration of varietal and mineral aromas -- notes of fruit mix with more herbaceous aromas of laurel, fennel and thyme. This Verdejo is dry, balanced and round with volume on the palate. There is a certain bitter touch, typical of the varietal. Natural acidity holds a long and elegant finish.

Made from 100% tank aged Verdejo from organically farmed vineyards, the 2024 Verdejo offers a rich, nicely concentrated, almost Chardonnay-like style with lots of citrus, peach, and stone fruit characteristics balanced nicely by a honeyed minerality. It’s clean, crisp, and nicely focused on the palate and it going to shine on the dinner table.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
