The Mauritson family has been farming in Dry Creek since 1868 and the family has a wealth of knowledge about the intricacies of growing Zinfandel. Don’t get them started about homogeneous ripening! The wine exudes mocha and blackberry notes that border on pie filling, yet it’s complimented by earthy notes of herbs, black pepper and fig. A dollop of 5% Petite Sirah gives the wine a little backbone and depth. A perfectly balanced Zinfandel.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
