Mama Chuy Mezcal Madre Cuishe 750ml

Mama Chuy Madre Cuishe is crafted by 3rd generation Master Distiller Casimiro Perez and his son Jorge in the sierra sur of San Luis Amatlan, Oaxaca. After harvesting, Casimiro roasts the agave hearts in an underground earthen oven for several days fueled by mesquite & manila tamarind wood. He then takes the fresh cooked agave, mechanically mills it & transfers it into Cypress wood vats where it ferments using local spring water. Casimiro then conducts a single distillation in a small Refrescadera copper pot still.

Craft & conservation are fundamental to Wolf Spirit’s beliefs. To reflect those values, Mama Chuy & Luneta’s bottles + copitas are hand blown with recycled glass in Guadalajara. All labels are made with up-cycled agave fibers by a Oaxacan Artisan & applied by hand at a family run bottling facility in Puebla. We use natural wood corks & our bottles are sealed with biodegradable wax. No two bottles are the same.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
