The 1995 La Croix de Beaucaillou was the first vintage of this "second wine" of Grand Cru-designated Château Ducru Beaucaillou to be bottled at the estate. According to the winery, Croix de Beaucaillou, blended from estate-grown grapes, is designed "...to reveal its assets earlier than Ducru B but also the characteristics of a great Saint Julien: elegance, finesse and of course its ability to age.
