Perfumed with bold notes of rhubarb, blackberry, baked plum, wild raspberry. Friendly palate with berries, rounded with a touch of cocoa and firm structure. A unique blend of mostly Petite Verdot with also Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo & Touriga from vineyards in Paso Robles and Santa Barbara. Old World winemaking in the New World; Fermented in Stainless Steel with native yeasts, aged in neutral barriques, bottled unfined and unfiltered. Curt Schalchlin makes both Sans Liege and Groundwork wines, his passion sourced from the freedoms of the New World in winemaking and the heritage of the Rhone Valley in France.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
