Marcel Richaud is the 5th generation at the domain today covering 80 ha. He took over the family domaine in 1974 and was determined to free himself from the cooperative winery and to sell his own bottles. For Marcel, the most important thing is the raw material. He doesn’t fine nor filter and add just a little bit of sulphur to adjust his wines. He gradually handed over the domain to his son and daughter who will have to perpetuate this beautiful work.

The nose and palate offer fresh crispy red fruits notes, lightly spiced, (rhasberry, strawberry, blackberry, violet). The final is dominated by a nice peppery note. Tannins structure is supple and melting. Which provide a fresh balance to the wine. Easily pairing with a lot of dishes, like tapas or grilled meat. We recommend to consume in the year.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
