The Duc family, well known in the viticulture of the Beaujolais, have been exploiting this vineyard for more than ten generations. It covers 14 hectares on stony and schistose soils. Laurent and Pascal Duc now represent the family and exploit this domain in a rigorous way by vinifying their wines carefully to give typed wines. The vines are mainly planted in Gamay.


For this wine, the grapes are harvested with a fairly high maturity and then destemmed. The fermentation lasts 8 days then comes the breeding which is done for 10 months on fine lees.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
