Erwin Poller has a group of small vineyards which he calls the aromatics: Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Traminer, and others. He produces difficult to obtain bottlings of each. This wine is a blend of the three: Sauvignon Blanc (65%), Gelber Muskateller (30%), and Traminer (5%). The result is a wine with brisk acidity, vivid, full-bodied flavor, with a hint of the exotic. It's clean and crisp at the same time. The grapes are steel tank fermented, the soil is loess, which is what you see on the 'label'. Certified organic in 2021.
