Deep ruby red with a brilliant clarity and dense hue. A fruit-forward bouquet of blackberry, raspberry, and plum, complemented by notes of licorice, vanilla, and thyme, with hints of cedar and minerality. Layers of black fruit, chocolate-covered blueberries, and herbal undertones unfold with every sip. The finely structured tannins provide a velvety texture, leading to a lingering finish with touches of spice and earthy complexity.
The Reserve Wine Collection sources grapes from AVAs in Paso Robles that produce the best expression of each varietal. DAOU Partners closely with each Vineyard to ensure the fruit is grown in line with DAOU standards. The wine is produced by DAOU using DAOU proprietary techniques with an ever-vigilant eye on quality.
