The wines of Sébastien Christophe are some of our most popular Chablis offerings. His AC Chablis is a cut above many of the designation. The vineyards this is sourced from face the famous Grand Cru site, Blanchots, west of the highly regarded 1er Cru Monte de Tonnerre. It's the quintessential Chablis - fine, focused, etched with minerality and wonderful saline character. Flavour to burn. A phenomenally good AC-level wine.
If you're craving the feeling of flowing fresh water over riverbed rocks or you want the quintessential pairing for oysters, this is what you need. I snagged the last couple of this vintages for California. Get it while the gettin' is good.
