After discovering the magic of the sacred Dominican passion fruit, Chinola® ‘s journey began in 2014 with the creation of the world’s first vine to bottle fresh fruit liqueur that’s shelf-stable. Chinola was born from a creative collaboration of hospitality experts, spirit industry professionals, and a multi-generational master blender. Locally referred to as chinola (chee-noh-lah), our dream was to create an old-world style liqueur that embodied the taste and aroma of fresh passion fruit. Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur has gone on to become an award-winning addition to the world’s best bars and a staple in home bars.

Inspired by another beloved tropical fruit in the Dominican Republic, a fresh innovation spawned the 2nd jewel in our collection: Chinola Mango Liqueur. Chinola Mango Liqueur marks the first innovation for Chinola since launching our original liqueur.

Chinola Fresh Fruit Liqueurs are natural, low ABV liqueurs made from 100% fresh fruit and neutral cane spirit with no artificial colors or flavors.With origins in the Samaná Peninsula, Chinola Fresh Fruit Liqueurs are produced in the Dominican Republic with a commitment to authenticity and eco-friendly practices from farm to bottle. Chinola has been instrumental in supporting the infrastructural growth of the Samaná community on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

Yes. During periods of extreme heat, we include complimentary ice packs in our insulated shippers. However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
