 A deep and electric ruby hue, the 2019 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is ripe with pure classic aromas of wild cherry, cola spice, and sweet herbs. Medium-bodied, it delivers super-fine tannins, freshness, and purity as well as attractive ripe fruit raspberry, leather, and warming root spice, and it has elegance and a graceful feel without being heavy.

This is a pretty nose of strawberries, oranges, plums and peaches, with a sprinkle of nutmeg and vanilla bean. It’s medium- to full-bodied with fine, sleek tannins. Delightful sweet spice and ripe, plush fruit. Excellent length.

There's maybe a bit less exuberance than readers have come to expect from Michael Browne, but that is not a bad thing. The 2019 impresses with its total finesse. Crushed flowers, sweet red berry fruit, mint spice and blood orange build effortlessly in the glass. The 2019 is simply impeccable, and a real joy to taste.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
