In the area of Bas Armagnac, a large number of producers are keen to ensure high quality. One such enterprising professional is 35-year-old Stéphane de Luze, who is company director of the firm established by his ancestor Raoul de Pichon-Longueville in 1864. Tradition and a taste for authenticity have been passed down through the generations. By producing Château de Briat Armagnac and running his own merchant company called ‘Les Fiefs de Briat’, Stéphane de Luze brings his own touch of contemporary and practical business acumen.
Aged for twelve years, imparting this fine spirit with a warm amber color, a supple texture, and notes of chocolate, vanilla, toffee, licorice, and sweet oak. Composed of 75% Bacco, 15% Folle Blanche, and 10% Colombard.

Aged 15 years and distilled from mostly the hybrid Baco grape, Château de Briat Hors d’Age is a big, rich, and round brandy that brings to mind that chubby guy who is, to everyone’s surprise, an excellent dancer. Aromas of licorice and tobacco smoke, and comforting flavors of candied nuts, chocolate, and dried fig, lead to a warm, enveloping finish.
