Castilla y León VT is the catch-all Vino de la Tierra title covering the whole Castilla y León region of central Spain. 

In terms of quality, the VT category represents a step up from Vino de la Mesa (table wine), and while it imposes some restrictions on grape varieties, yields and aging, it is much less restrictive than the better-known Denominación de Origen classification.

Castilla y León is one of the largest wine regions in all of Spain and ranks as Europe's third largest. In many ways, as is the case with Castilla y León VT, it acts as a holding title, giving wines greater recognition and encouraging the region to produce higher-quality wines to climb the ladder. It received its VT status is 2000.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
