The result of the marriage of the finest grapes from Meunier with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay harvested at full maturity, the Brut Grande Cuvée possesses the elegance of the greatest wines. Its fine bubbles, its delicate, fruity aromas, its flavours of brioche with hints of almond meet the expectations of the most demanding connoisseurs. Combining delicacy and distinction, the Brut Grande Cuvée possesses the rarity of the best vintages of the “Montagne de Reims”.

The Arlaux family acquired this estate back in 1792. But it was in 1826, right after the crowning of the last king of France, Charles X, that Jean Arlaux produced the first sparkling wine. Little did he know that this estate, which originally was producing red and white wines, was going to become one greatest Champagne houses in the region. Today, this Maison only produces sparkling wines.

Arlaux is located in the Premier Cru vineyard in Montagne de Reims, one of the five sub-regions of the Champagne appellation. This is one of the northernmost vineyards on the planet. The terroir is perfect, and it is highly influenced by the ocean breeze, with soils composed of clay. The vineyard is managed with sustainable and respectful viticulture.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions. We can also hold your shipment at no charge for up to one year upon request.
