Aperol was created in 1919 in Padova, Italy, by the Barbieri Brothers who launched the revolutionary idea of an aperitif with an alcohol content of only 11 percent. Their stylish and versatile creation inspired a cocktail which has become the signature drink of Italy: the Aperol Spritz.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
