Aberfeldy 12 Year Single Malt Scotch

Fresh and fruity – freshly cut melon, green apple and pear – along with hot toast and honey with a sprinkling of freshly grated nutmeg.

Lovely smooth texture, with rich honeyed fruit, freshened up with crisp apple notes. Gentle, sweet spice adds to the complexity. Very drinkable.

The rich mouthfeel lingers, with the honeyed fruit lasting longest. Good balance.

Tasting Notes

Sweet, malty, a gentle peat but nonetheless the mouth feel is very clean. Vanilla, peaches in cream and subtle oak.

Creamy. Some sherried fruit with a trailing hint of smoke. Prune, custard and espresso bean.

Ginger, malt, nutty nougat and maybe a little grapefruit zest.

Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
