Thomas-Hsi Vineyards (Hsi is pronounced ‘she’). Driving the windy and often beat up Mt. Veeder Road in early Spring on the tail end of yet another rainstorm, I reflected upon this very unique appellation. It is an area in Napa that takes some time to understand and appreciate and this has certainly been the case for me over the years. One perhaps gravitates quickly to more flashy appellations (both wines and people) of which there are several in Napa. But if you dig a little, Mt. Veeder will surprise you in a very good way.

Thomas-Hsi Vineyards and wines are the culmination of a four decade dream.  With our combined experience, our family credo is to grow our own grapes to the best of our ability and to make the finest wines possible.  Thomas Hsi wines express the unique character of our vineyard in the Mt. Veeder Appellation.  The wines are complex, dark, rich, with a beautiful balance of flavors.

Mount Veeder is an AVA located in the southwest hills of California's most famous wine region, Napa Valley. The AVA has won worldwide acclaim for its wine from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety.

Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
