Inspired by the beauty and potential of Columbia Gorge and a lifelong infatuation with champagne, Matthias Pippig of Santa Barbara’s iconic Sanguis and Andrew Riechers of Oregon’s acclaimed Audeant have teamed up to create sparkling wines that capture the area’s Alpine effervescence.

We work closely with decades-old dry farmed vineyards planted high above the Columbia in deep volcanic soils that hold the annual rainfall optimally, where wind and elevation combine to a climate ideally suited to grow pristine raw material.

Combining traditional champagne methods with the freedom and creativity of New World winemaking enables us to produce elegantly perfumed, vibrantly effervescent wines that capture the express and beauty of this unique terroir.

The point of a Kaleidoscope is to be fun and surprising, and to engage childlike curiosity and imagination with its myriad of ever-changing colors, shapes and patters.  This is the adult, liquid-effervescent version of that magic. Yes, in most cases, the photograph on the product page is of the specific bottle for sale. If we have multiple quantities of the same item, the photo represents the general condition of all bottles under that SKU. Any significant condition issues, such as low ullage or bin-stained labels, will be clearly noted in the product description. We are happy to provide additional high-resolution images upon request-please contact us.

We use premium, industry-standard materials to protect every shipment. Depending on the bottle and destination, we use a combination of insulated foam box inserts, custom-fit air column bags, and heavy-weight cardboard shippers to prevent damage. For added peace of mind, we offer shipping protection against loss or damage at checkout through OrderProtection.com.

For wine, we recommend storing bottles on their side in a dark, vibration-free environment with good humidity, ideally between 55-60°F. Spirits like whiskey should be stored upright in a cool, dark place (60-70°F) away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.

However, to fully protect your investment, we strongly recommend selecting an overnight shipping service in these conditions.
