A delicious, savory red with blackcurrant, chocolate and cedar aromas and flavors. It’s medium-bodied with fine, round tannins. Fresh and bright. It opens at the end and becomes chewy and intense.

Tempo d’Angelus has been created as a in an alternative direction, a transposition of everything that makes up the Angelus world of excellence onto an approchable level. 

Exclusively produced from vines acquired by Château Angelus in 2017 located in Castillon-la-Bataille, Saint-Magne-de-Castillon, Sainte-Colombe and the Francs sector, a few kilometers from Saint-Émilion, on magnificent clay-limestone slopes with high tuff rock and marl content. These cold, deep soils together with the vineyards’ south-facing slopes have a direct bearing on the ripening process of the grapes, which display low levels of pH and high polyphenol content.
